bought this bar primarily for limbing doug fir logs. I didn't know if the 357 would be enough saw for it but it pulls it fine, its definitely much nicer to limb with than a 20 inch. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple reasons. The first is that the nose section of the bar is thicker than the body of the bar so it hangs up alittle more often in a pinch than a typical bar that is of even thickness. Second thing is that the chain has a tendency to jump off the top of the bar, I almost never throw a chain on the oregon 20 inch bar, but its come off this bar twice in 2 hours.
