3 of 5 Good quality aftermarket piston and cylinder November 23, 2021

The piston cylinder rings were great didn't receive the  correct bearing with the kit. The aftermarket gaskets were junk

5 of 5 Great Kit December 27, 2018

Reviving an old 371. Everything fit perfectly. More gaskets than you need included (crank case gasket, seals included as well as exhaust, cylinder head. I opened up the exhaust a bit to allow the extra cc's breath. Wow! Big boost in performance over the tired old saw. Nice hard finish on wear surfaces. The ports were clean, and close enough to Porting limits that I choose not to touch them. I did have to trim the cylinder gasket a bit. YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Intake and exhaust ports were not consistent, had to grind and polish to clean up. Casting slag on the intake side, had to grind down in fear of it wearing into the intake boot. Transfer ports casted inconsistently, had to open up one side to match the other. Plating inside the cylinder looked good. Piston looks good. The cylinder overall was not up to my expectations.
