bought this part as a "new" head . when it arraived I thought it rather stange that it was so dirty looking. you can actually see down the fins that it was not cleaned very well .. still had stains deep down on the fins. then around the sparkplug hole .. very apparent that this was a used item. have not installed it yet but we shall see if it works for the replacement. the origanl unit was purchased brand new in box. from Amazon the it was defective from the build. so that is why i needed the "NEW" head.
