The online description indicates that this is compatible with a MS271 and a 029. When it arrived it very clearly was NOT compatible. Not even close. Oil hole not lined up, not even the tensioner lined up. So I call and the person helping me gave me an RMA but stuck me with the return shipping. Said I should have called in to confirm before ordering. So I asked him to please confirm if the bar was compatible with either saw and he came back with the answer “Yes it is†because that was what the misleading description indicated too. When I pointed out the problem that made this HLS’s fault I was told that I should have consulted Stihl themselves to confirm if this was compatible before ordering, and I was still responsible for return shipping. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. There won’t be a second time and know that HLS does not take responsibility for incorrect descriptions.
