I haven't done any milling with my Stihl 084av yet but installed decently. I took my time to prevent debris from getting into the lower end . One issue I did have was the holes in the fins were a little small to use a #25 torx 6"bit so had to drill them out a bit other than that install went good. Make sure you buy a gasket though because the kit doesn't come with one . Carb tuning will be necessary due to the locations of porting . I'm very satisfied with HL Supply. I will be ordering from them again .

It fit and works just fine on my 046 the glory is that that I'm told it now has the power of a 066 and only cost less than $40 that's a no brainer in my book time will tell as to how well it holds up
