My clone saw was unimpressive following a rebuild in admittedly very hard wood. With the combination of a fresh sharpening (and raker lowering) and a higher gear ratio, courtesy of the 8T cover, I experienced best-ever cutting through a 3-foot thick wet hickory log! The additional speed made the task a pleasure, not a chore. Oddly, the chain seems to advance more than I expected at idle.
